Dedicated fisherman that he is, my husband went out today in -5C (that is about 23F) weather, plowed through 3ft of snow and stood on the river bank casting his line. He was using a size 8 hook and he snagged a huge trout. He figures 8 - 10lb.
Actually he lost it but this is what it would have looked like!! The ones he brought back were only about 2-3lb, he throws them back if they are under 2lbs. We live in one of the prime trout fishing locations in British Columbia. I am not sure if this is a blessing or not!!
We are eating so much fish I am growing fins.
